Could it be possible that some retrofit a 2017+ suspension to the 2016? Not sure if thats possible unless the 2016 has the necessary wiring to retrofit.

Sep 2016 production is considered 2017.
All cars manufactured from Sep onwards are next year's model designations.

And to avoid any argument on what I said, please note that the above applies to cars already in production.
Cars that have undergone generation shift and/or Life Cycle Impulse changes may start production before September and still be considered the next years model.

No you are right, this is definitely a 2017. And I believe what you said still applies to Lexus today.
