Has anyone ever tried the wireless Apple car play that’s for sale on eBay? The seller responded they have sold, shipped and installed them on US GSFs before. I haven’t seen any info on them so I was just curious before I grab one. Price seems very fair.

I don’t have this but I’m curious and interested to get CarPlay on my gsf.

 

i talked to someone before about something similar and they wouldn't disclosed the name but did mentioned it is the same as the grom vline

 

If that is true at 1/2 the price this seems to be like the way to go. I'm curious as well if anyone here has the wireless CarPlay.

Looks promising. Wish Lexus would just give us a software update.

 

They're different. The cheaper one is made in China, while the other is made in Korea. Both seems to pass audio through AUX, but another big difference is you get beat-sonic support if anything goes wrong. With the Chinese version, you're buying straight from the vendor through Aliexpress, so support will be more difficult and expensive (should you ship it back)

i have the beat sonic usa one and its fantastic, you might have issues with these eBay ones, in and out cut sounds, disconnection, quality etc.. just remember you guys have an 80k car when new.. dont be a cheapass.

 

agreed. which is why i'm not entirely sold on beatsonic's either because the audio is still passed through aux.
