GSF resale. What’s comparable?
I bought my GSF for a handful or reasons after looking at M5’s and E63’s, most of what you would think and know. But the fact that a 10 year old ISF could still demand a price that is half of its MSRP or more made me feel like the GSF would follow suit. I’ve had my GSF for 2.5 years now and bought it(White on black)for 57k with 14k miles. It now has 30k miles and feel it could still fetch around 48k. Maybe wrong but think that’s fair. I honestly don’t see our cars going below the 40k mark for a really long time as long as it’s 80k miles or under.
Question is, what other Make and Models do you feel could hold their values like the F brand has?

Plenty of makes and models that hold their values like the F brand.
Porsche GT line (GT3, GT3 RS, GT2, GT4, etc.) typically see lower loss compared to SRP (suggested retail price). My GT3 has seen a steady increase in months, and I would estimate it still retains 80-85% of it's value for being nearly 6 years old. PTS (paint to sample) and Touring models (991.2 + Manual) do very well and sell above SRP.
Nissan GTR's do fairly well, and in recent months has seen and uptick in used values.
Anything "TRD Pro" has been gobbled-up quickly from what I can tell. I missed-out on 5, 4Runner TRD Pro models by either being outbid (price) or timeframe (sold within hours/days). Even more desirable are the limited colors launched each model year.
Used market is on fire lately, so I wouldn't be surprised if more enthusiasts focused vehicles are all seeing increases in value, which in a way, skews traditional depreciation %.

The GSF takes a bit hit after it leaves the dealership and then levels out. They hold their value tremendously well compared to their German counterparts, mostly due to the reliability factor. Other than Porsche, the German brands cost a ton to maintain once out of warranty.

Like Doug Demuro said GSF is a bad new car but great used one... I feel like the MSRP brand new is def a little high but the car has great value , especially after the warranty period expires .. I wonder what will happpen to 1st Gen ISF values will when the 2nd Gen ISF rolls out ..
I beg the differ, I think the GSF, though it is 5 years old, it looks much better than the new IS 500 F Sport, and I believe it is going to stay hot and definitely rare/classic.
I don't think there will be an ISF, it is going to be the IS 500 F Sport only. The new F versions will be of the LC and LS only with 4.0 V8 twin turbos making 660 HP.

Dont know whats going on with lexus, they dropped the ball and put a v6 in Ls500 then giving us a v8 in the is500? Although this engine is a masterpiece its also in the current RCF line up. The is500 will be lighter than rcf too. Whats the next F car? Looks like LC more than the LS or even ES has a case

I bought my 2017 GSF (Ultra White/Red) exactly one year ago and have 31k on the odometer. I would ask $4-$6k over what I paid for the car today and would still get plenty of bites if not a sale on it. Doing a search on Autotrader today for GSF's within the US there are only 5 within 100 miles of me and 50 total in the US. That has dropped from 70-75 GSF's available at anytime since Lexus announced they were discontinuing the line.
With the line being discontinued, ample room in the car for kids and golf clubs, and obviously the engine being bulletproof, I feel confident that the car will hold it's value for quite some time. I also tend to keep cars for a longer period of time.
