Default Curb damage

Just looking for opinions...

I've babied this car around curbs, but regardless, hit a curb I thought I had cleared.

Is this easily repaired without replacing the whole bumper valance assembly?

It all depends on who you are asking to fix it and how picky you are about the finished work. If you're really picky, you're ahead to just buy a new bumper cover and get it painted. If you don't mind possibly having some small imperfections, you could remove the cover you have and have it refinished by someone competent and be 98% for a lot less money. Your call.

Thanks. Pretty much what I expected. Also, I forgot the image of the damage. Uploaded now.

I'd replace the bumper. They actually aren't bad. The carbon insert though......$$$$.

A good shop can sand and just touch up that area. It won’t be 100% but getting a new bumper and what if the paint does not match which can be a pretty lengthy hassle. Before I got my car Xplel PPF, there were minor rashes in the front under the car. ( this is a brand new GSF with some miles from dealer) I noticed the next car, picked up the car at night. So dealer was like they can send to the in house body shop where they were goning to fix paint the whole bumper. I was like no thank you and ordered some Dr paint chip and touched upon myself.

Throw a carbon lip on top and you won’t even see it anymore. thats my plan too.

Find a front lip to cover it up. A quality paint job is expensive and it will not match 100% to the original.
