Thinking about track wheels and looking to keep to 19s even if I get an extra set. 20s look great on the F but the type of driving you plan on doing comes into play. I personally don't think there's a benefit to 20s other than aesthetics.

Definitely true. They only look better but actually hurt acceleration and braking and make the car ride more harsh.

why 20s and not 19s?
how's the ride quality compared to oem 19's?
since the sidewall would have to be smaller probably a 30 series how do they do with bad roads?
would've you buy 20s again or 19s?

looking at a new set of forged wheels but unsure if I should do 19s or 20s

thanks
1) 20's fit GSF big body better
2)Ride quality feels almost exactly the same.
3)They do just fine. Since I upgraded to 295/30/20 rear and 275/30/20, so the lost on the side wall is very minimum
4)buy 20s all day long

Your not really sacrificing ride quality. Like for my front its only .26" side wall difference and the rear is .31" differences. If you rode in one you wouldn't notice much. Ask any other member that went to 20s.
