Intake tuning is a thing. Diameter of intake runners, shape of intake runners, length of intake runners. Biggest and most wide open is not always best.
Yes and no. Depends on where you are in the intake. I have some practical experience in this space. This is a 2JZ-GE head I did. The owner ran 8's in the 1/4 mile with it.
