Breaks up the midline, giving it mildly sleeker silhouette. I prefer without...no dirt build-up.

Thumbs up

Not a fan, the symmetry doesn't coincide with the rest of the car. But go with what makes you happy!

I agree with both of you. Not a fan.

I am interested in this car. But I wonder if the molding can be removed by a body shop without damaging the paint?

Absolutely hideous, ruins the sleekness of the side profile of the car.

Good news is that given that it’s a new 2019 and the fact that it’s a dealer installed item, it should come off with no problem and not leave a trace. The side moulds are most likely attached by 3m so removal isn’t an issue.

I wouldn’t let the dealer remove them, have a reputable body shop remove them.

Agree. Can easily be removed using a low setting heat gun, and floss.

Truly hideous. Might as well have installed a brush bumper while the were at it.

I know taste is subjective, but how can someone think that looks good?

Good question. Was this a dealer add to try to extract a little more profit? Or did someone sign for the car, ask for it to be added, then backed out. That's all I can think of.

It also has film protection and door guards. I think its a deal that fell through.

Regardless, a very poor decision by someone.

Like others said, at least it is easily removable.
