Very interesting. I had the KRX2 in my ISF but ran of Excelon double din and JL 4 channel and was beautiful.
How do the speakers sound cranked up? Do they distort quickly? the KRX2 require a decent amount of power. Never looked at the power rating of the factory ML.... Now you have me thinking!

Resurrecting. What are the speakers sizes through out? Did you replace just the front door/dash? I'd like to think that you can get away with replacing half of them, because replacing 19 speakers sounds prohibitively expensive.

Found that the door speakers are 6.5" and the tweeters are 1 1/4", the center is 3" and there are several tweeters around the cabin for the surround sound/ASC. So the question is, which ones are worth upgrading? Just the door/dash?
There are also some on the rear parcel/shelf but cant find any info on those. Anyone have any idea?
