Dyno'd the GSF
Went to EAS in Anaheim. Tom's filter and Novel headers. Stock intake tube, stock mid pipe and stock mufflers.https://cimg3.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.clu...cbcc3a3580.jpg

No worries. After 141 views finally a comment lol. 6th gear and stock mid pipe and mufflers.
|
419whp, nice
|
Do you have a stock baseline?
|
ahahhahah not bad :P
|
I wish I did but ran out of time before installing the headers. I can only base it off other Cali GSF owners with stock dyno numbers.

consistently in 4th gear except for the one I did in 5th gear. Dyno'd my complete Novel exhaust at EAS. Picked the only hot day, of course. My #'s were slightly lower than yours with stock air box set up |
What is the 1 to 1 gear in this car? 419whp with intake and headers seem decent. Anyone have any idea what these cars do bone stock? |
bone stock is 390 ish and 6th gear is 1:1
|
Thats kind of what I would expect with just headers and its amazing how well these engines benefit from headers swap!
Although I would question the 390 whp. If we were to just go by the typical "20% drive train loss" that I always read and hear about. 390 rwhp would mean that the GSF has 480-490 BHP. But then again, BHP is kinda of the average rating, some cars may be above that or below that! |
I googled stock GSF dyno and saw one video and they dyno'd 392 whp and another former member " Dyno'd the car today as EAS, with intake and mid pipe setup the car pulls 402HP AND 345LBFT " but its all relative because I don't know what gear they dyno'd in and weather conditions etc. And stock RCF's are anywhere between 362 to 392. Yes different car but same engine and tranny.

So just with the headers & Intake you can roughly get a 20whp increase! That is pretty good IMO. I'm guessing that with a Full system & intake should be getting 425~430ish....

Very nice.
What is Novel doing for the downstream o2 sensors to make sure no check engine light comes on? |
