i have the gt mid on RCF and getting cel from time to time - p013c bank 2/sensor 2. Is this then something to do with install or need the spacers? Thanks.

 

I have the same code after midpipe install on my is500, did you resolve your code? I'm thinking the wiring to that sensor may have gotten damaged?

 

GT mid on my GS F. No CEL. It's probably the O2 sensor or exhaust leak.

 

in my case it was the install. I suggest you replace oem gaskets (flat ones that is in the front) with new oem ones even your stock might look good condition. Another check point is some shops install GT Haus mid pipe without using OEM donut gaskets that connects to the muffler. You will need that as well. if you can lift the car, you can see the damaged gaskets at connection points which is triggering the air escape and secondary sensor codes. Hope that helps!

 

I have the RR Racing Bazooka axle back installed on my car and I ordered the meisterschaft midpipe. The RR racing is 2.5 inch diameter. What size is the meisterschaft diameter?

 

I have the full exhaust with the valves, the older version. I have no issues and it sounds great. I get a lot of compliments from car people. Often people think it’s an American V8 swapped gs.

 

It's 2.5 inch.

The APEXi mid-pipe was mentioned a few times so I figured I would chime in - I tried the APEXi resonated midpipe on the stock axle back, and it just didn't do it for me. Maybe 15-20% louder than stock, MAYBE ...

I'm honestly shocked at how much louder the Meisterschaft mid pipe is on the stock axle back. I suppose the resonators on the APEXi make the difference.

I ended up adding the Revel Medallion axle back to the APEXi mid-pipe and couldn't be happier. Significantly louder than stock at all RPM's and no highway drone at all. I'll post a video in its own thread so I don't derail this one.
