Dealership wants to buy back my ‘16 GS F
I have scheduled service tomorrow morning and got a call from the dealership wanting to buy my car back. She she said they were having a hard time finding used GS Fs (yeah no kidding) and would rather overpay a customer of theirs rather than overpay at auction.
That sounds like a standard pitch to anyone they want to buy a car from, but I’m interested in hearing what they will offer for the car and discounts for a ‘17 during December to Remember.
Has anyone else been offered a buy back from a dealership?

Thanks for the feedback! The girl at the dealership didn't actually discuss any numbers with me, she wanted more time to put something together and asked me for my preferences on color for a vehicle. When I came outside where my car was left after service, she was with the sales manager taking pictures of the outside and inside... which got my curious on whether they were really considering buying it. She is going to call me later today.

marketing campaign to get you into a new car..
Dealership did the same to me last year and my RC-F, and they offered me $10K-$12K below auction pricing at the time.. I have access to Manheim Auctions so I know at the time the RC-F was going for $48K-$51K at auction, and they were offering me $39K as if they were doing me a favor..

That's exactly what I was thinking when i hung up with her yesterday. I recall dealerships in the past sending me post cards a few times a year about lowering my monthly payments by trading in for a newer model
