Default Waterfish's Poorman Canadian Spec Build

Why is it called a poorman's build? It is because I have a 1 year old baby and budget is tight.

To me small mods are worth mentioning as it adds personality to the car.

Let me first post the Canadian Spec GSF difference first:

Carbon Filber Trims

Auto trunk

Cargo net

My US spec GSF comes with a cargo net and has the carbon fiber trim on the cup holder cover. So I don't think that's exclusive to the Canadian spec.

The trunk button thing I don't have, wish it did...

My 2016 Canadian Spec does not have Carbon Fiber Trim, it has the wavey Carbon Fiber Reinforced Polymer trim according to this site:

Interesting. Thought the CB trim is a Canadian spec. Does your CB trim goes up to the side door and front dash?

Oh right. And of course we have the heated steering wheel here.

The next mod I did was audio.

The original ML system was marginal in my standard. After a few months I decided to swap my front speakers/tweeter with the Focal 165KX2 and the system came alive! No need to swap any components.

To even improve more on the audio. I bought the AK70 player ($700) cdn with the AQ Sydney aux cables ($250).

It made the base, mid range super clear. It sounds much cleaner than from the CD player.

The $250 Sydney Aux cable. Alot better than my previous evergreen cable

As we all know Canadian Winters are a little colder. Therefore we have another set of rims/tires just for our winter. The Niche mid-range rims are perfect for the job!

Default Lexus GSF Novel Lip Kit

Finally installed the Novel Lip kit this summer!

To my surprised on the race track the car performed better and more stable around corners.

On the highway when going around 140km/h (around 85 miles/h) the flow was much better and tighter.

The only issue is that the front lip kit is very low and you can scrape it easily, and I did not even lower the car.

Next project:

New summer 20 inch rims.

Thinking of Work T5R 2p. Glossy bronze barrel and CT silver face.

Love that 3/4 rear shot - looks amazing ! Does the rear diffuser require the removal of any stock pieces?

You're right - that front lip is just asking to being scraped - I'd be scared to drive that thing anywhere.

car looks really great, however i highly doubt the novel kit did anything in terms of actual aerodynamics on the track
