Decided to do something I had not done in the past...Took the car to a local truck'n company called O'neil where they have a certified public scale.
Car had just below a 1/4 tank of gas, and nothing was removed.

In keeping with the base line numbers we needed to have the car dyno'd. After searching for a local vendor we were referred to EAS where they use a Dynojet.
We decided to try the first one in 5th gear and the rest in 4th. I was content with the number we received

1st run was in 5th gear rest were in 4th gear

In my opinion testing is not complete without track time! So, a few of us headed out to Auto Club Raceway in Fontana for some baseline numbers. First run of the day was
the best at 13.2, and we seemed to go downhill from there. Was surprised to say the least! All the testing I have seen on the car says we should have done high 12's considering
very little wheel spin. Not disappointed at all though because we only have 91 octane here, and I'm sure the testing done was with 93, cooler temps, and a prepped track.
But again these are just baseline numbers

Decided to take the car to Irwindale raceway where they have an 1/8 mile track to "again" get some baseline numbers. I felt the number were consistent with the
1/4 mile track we had previously been to. 60ft time was a bit better, but that can probably be attributed to the cooler weather. Anyhow we had a blast! Only sad thing
was because they were pretty busy we only received 2 runs...

Actually, Liquid Platinum is Sonic Silver. Sonic Titanium is Atomic Silver. I have that color and I tell people here in the US that my car color is Sonic Titanium because it really does look more like Titanium than Silver.

Decided to make a few exterior changes this time!

Sent the car to the bodyshop "Tustin Ranch Collision" for a color change on the roof. While doing that I decided to paint the door chrome moldings,
and do some carbon fiber hydro dipping...Stay tuned!

Best thing you did was paint the side mirrors.

Bodyshop pics....

Antenna was removed, prepped for paint

Removed all the door chrome, mirrors, purchased new appliqué door moldings. Then sent the mirrors and appliqué moldings to http://www.cnghydrographics.com for hydro carbon fiber dipping.

All chrome was scuffed prepped for paint

Reminds me the previous Liquid Platinum built.

I'll look forward to it.

Ha Ha, yep that's why I called this thread "take 2".

I loved the look of that car. It was just lacking the power

Just received the Hydro dipped carbon fiber mirrors and Door appliqué moldings. Went ahead and painted the mirror bases
black (not pictured).
"These came out unbelievable" to say the least...
