Exclamation NEW GSF Owners, does this make you mad!?

I love my 2016 GSF, and got a good deal for it.
HOWEVER, I just read something online saying the 2017 GSF has VARIABLE SUSPENSION!?? That's shocking news to me considering Lexus, unlike what it did with ISF, actually took a much more aggressive approach and tune the car faster than it used to be...(I thought it would take at least one or two more years before they make any performance upgrade to GSF)

What do you new owners think about this? Will this affect our car's value in the future ?

Mad? No. The deal I got was so ridiculously good, there is no way I'd spend full ticket just to get an adaptive suspension I will likely never use.

I got a bit annoyed since the ride is a bit harsher than what I was expecting.

Hoping to see if there is a way to retrofit.

CalboyF:

To be honest: NOT REALLY!!! When your planning to modify your GS-F with after market parts.

Bottomline: I'm not planning to leave my GS-F STOCK!

I was a little annoyed at first, but for what I paid for my car... I can live with it LOL. Dont know if the AVS would have made THAT much of a difference

It's supposed to be a better system than the RC and GS got initially in the 350's. Samples the road surface frequently and constantly makes adjustments. I was just shocked when I opened the hood on a GSF the first time and saw the top of the strut towers were empty but still had the servo covers bolted on. It's like they forgot something. I'm sure it was cost savings and they probably have a whiteboard with planned upgrades for this model over the next few years.

I have to agree with alot of you though, it wouldn't have been a deal breaker for me, nice to have, not a necessity.
