hey dave... after having the car less than a month, i'm really happy with my decision... even though the F gets dogged for it's weight, it still has a few hundred lbs on the V... the only difference is the V has more displacement and a blower to help move the weight... i really feel that Lexus underdelivered the F... at the price point they released the car at, it should of at least had some sort of forced induction... (there is a reason there are so many of them sitting on lots and it seems like they didn't learn after the RCF sales) i am a huge Lexus fan (i have 3 in the family) and every time i had my car at the dealer, you would find me standing in front of the F walking around fighting myself on whether to pull the trigger... i was very wary of going domestic since i've had stellar history of reliability with Lexus... problem with me, is that i am all about value for money... how can i get the most bang for my buck... at this point in time, the F doesn't tick that box for me... and i came across a slamming deal on the V that i have been looking out for over the last 3 years...

here is a link to some of the pictures and my story to get the car...

currently, GSF are going for under $70k if you look around. There were a few dealers in my area fighting to get me in the showroom with price under $70k

I ended up paying $67.2k for 88.5k msrp.

I thought Lexus should've marketed this car in the $75k range.

Agreed. at 75k MSRP this is a great car. roughly 12k more than the decked out gs f sport. great deal at that price.

i can top you. my local dealer wouldn't do better than $81k. !!!!

too many rich people around here. I highly recommend calling around, you will get 70k shipped. in fact I talked to a dealer down in the southeast somewhere that was under 70k for a white/red (highest demand color combo).

you do have to be willing to spend time talking to lots of salespeople on the phone.

if you're willing to take a drive down to Eugene Oregon, then sub $70k is obtainable. In fact, one of the guys on here bought a while one from them for $69k or something like that.
