Price Paid for a GS-F (Lease or Purchase)
 

Starting a thread for those of us whom are interested in seeing what kinds of deals folks are getting.

Please post your price, deal information, as well as your states sales tax rate.

The original build allocation allowed dealers to preference any pre-sold orders with deposits so they could be built and delivered first. They limited most if not all dealers to just one unit on this first allocation. The dealership I work for has three deposits but just the first one ordered so far with no indication when we will be able to orde the others yet. Based on this I don't foresee any discounts off MSRP in the near future and I doubt LFS will offer any lease incentives. I would say shop far and wide to avoid anyone trying to mark it up over MSRP!

Ekirks13 are you a sales rep at Lexus?

Would it prudent to "wait: on these cars to see if Lexus can move them at a faster rate than the RCF, to potentially get the "good deal"? I have a feeling the GSF will move faster than RCF's but im also curious if they will make thier 2000 units a year since the RCF is looking like its far from that.

What was the cause for the RCF's not moving fast enough and Lexus providing incentives? I would asume based on your comment that that car also generated deposits, hype and a one per dealer allocation when it was first launched, No??

I am the marketing director for a dealer group that includes some Lexus dealerships. The RC-F did launch with some early deposits taken but the allocation, while limited at first, wasn't held at just one per dealer like we are seeing with GS-F. We had to wait a little longer for Molten Lava in the very beginning and of course the carbon fiber packages weren't available at first but we were able to fulfill all of our initial sold orders within a reasonable time frame.

This is pure speculation but I don't see them building up stock on the GS-F like they ended up doing for RC-F. They already know the audience for the GS whereas last year they were re-entering the coupe segment and trying to go hard with the RC.

I didn't purchase one, but I was quoted $1650/month on a 48 month lease with $0 down.
This is in Ontario, Canada where the GS350 is ~$850/month.

I think those prices also go with the territory (where you are located). I was quoted $1250/month for a new M5 @ 113,400 sticker at 0 down / 36 mo after aggressively searching. NYC metro area.

yeah i think you can get m5 for cheaper price than the numbers above on gsf. but maybe region has a lot to do with it too

that for sure. but the fact that it's price is about the same as m5 (in his same region) makes it sound pretty expensive. probably coz' the car just arrived

New car, so dealers are trying to squeeze every penny out of it. Give it a few months, I'm sure we'll see more reasonable deals. It does not make sense to price it this high. The fact that it's rare and hard to find, should not be the factor. Since, it's their fault for only making 2,000 / yr

Almost pulled the trigger on one this past weekend. I'm glad it was "almost"... Need to learn my lesson of buying first gen cars - hype, unexpected issues, unnecessary dealer mark up, etc.

see what infiniti is doing their q50. will probably give the gs f a run for its money
