Default Thank me later...

If you haven't changed your OEM ATF to Liqui Moly's please do so.

So much smoother. Overall feeling, shifting. From gas pedal feel to shifting manually.

Even helps to diminish that stutter at 2500RPM. Not so noticeable now.

Definitely a must in my opinion.

Car doesn't feel so held back.

It's not the ATF. It's setting the level correctly that makes the difference.

Either way, car is definitely different now than when I bought it.

So I'll say a combination of both, lol.

118K.

Wasn't having any issues.

Just wanted to get it changed, along with flushing and filling all other fluids, to include TVD.

I wonder if the previous owner changed the fluid during their ownership.

At 118k miles, this should be the 2nd time changing fluid, along w/ the rear differential & TVDs.

I didn't see it on the Carfax.

The shop I had so the servicing made sure to get my VIN put the servicing on there.

I just wanted to get to a baseline.

I'm not learning how there are basically 0 ecu tunes for the 2017MY...I came from a RC-F, so I thought all was the same basically.

Leaning the hard way the 2017 is left out in the cold, lol. Unless changing the ECU, and I'm not doing that lol.

Oh yeah, cars are meant to be driven. I drive mine. I don't care about miles. That's a restriction/box I won't allow myself to live in.

I have a 95 TT Supra I drive weekly. Has 227K miles on the ODO. Had it since 2011. Had over 140K when I got it. Still running strong.

The wife's GS F has 130k on it right now. My IS F has 216k on it. Supra only has 161k. It's not a daily anymore. I buy my cars to keep for a long time and drive until they're impossible to support.

Interesting, I was going over my service records before taking my car in for it's 150k kilometer service.
Diff oil was changed at 40k kilometers and 80k kilometers. They should have changed it at 120k, but they seemed to had forgotten.
I was pretty upset.

Just got the car back, I insisted they replace my diff and transfer case fluids. I don't care.
Brand new suspension and suspension components. Had all the shocks and assemblies and links replaced. And car serviced.
Took full advantage of the dealers "Ramadhan" offer which is 40% off everything.

I also received this today, seems like a Lexus recall on a fuel line vent tube or something. Anyone aware of this?

There's nothing in TIS yet for this. We'll need to see if this comes here.
