Default Vibrations/Feedback From Car When Accelerating

I recently installed a gthaus mid pipe. After installation the car would make a static noise as if it was touching on something only when accelerating to 3-4k rpm or WOT. I would also feel vibrations coming from the pedal whenever I would WOT.

The car also makes a "crunching" sound at random either when I slightly accelerate (not all the time) or when I turn the wheel. This sound is new and has me completely confused.

Revving the car in neutral does not produce any of these sounds until I put it back in drive. Revving in park also does not produce these sounds.

About a year or so ago I had installed PPE UEL headers and had similar sounds. I moved the heat shield on the driver side by the headers around and the noise had stopped. I attempted the same thing this time because the sounds were very similar but, it only made it worse. I'm coming to the forums now for help because I am running out of ideas on what to do.

Also the sound I am hearing is not rasp. I know the mid pipe has its own rasp that it makes and it is distinct from the noises I am hearing.

Besides all of this, the exhaust sounds absolutely amazing. I would just like these side noises to disappear but, am struggling with getting rid of them.

How many miles on the car?

Are you sure your engine mounts are still good?

I put in brand new OEM engine mounts at about 60k miles when I installed my headers a year ago. I’m currently at 69k miles on the car. I considered the engine mounts previously when I had these same noises with my header install but, they fully went away after messing with the heat shield. I’ve been free of any of those noises I originally heard for a year until I installed my midpipe a few days ago.

Did you install the midpipe yourself?
If not, take it back to the shop that did and have them go over their work again.
It sounds like it's related to the midpipe, so my guess would be check all the flanges and the center brace.

had it installed by a shop. Also had new gaskets put in. Car revs perfectly fine in neutral and park, would that make the exhaust less likely the problem or is it still a possibility?

There's no stress on the engine in park. When the driveline is resisting, everything changes.

I’ll check the flanges and center brace this weekend and send an update.

If it started after midpipe install I'd start by looking at the center brace, usually that's where most of the trouble comes from.
