So I am considering doing a chrome delete around the windows on my car. Ideally I would like to find a gunmetal color that matches closely to the metal on the front. Any recommendations? I thought that someone here did a chrome delete and found something that was very close. Of course in my searches of the GSF forums, I could not find the post.

 

I used an online company named Blue Bat Overlays and their vinyl was great quality and easy to install.

 

Are you looking for vinyl cover to apply it yourself or planning to replace the trims completely that come factory-painted? As for color, what color are your rims? I’d try to blend in with that.

 

I’m opening to both those options. Ideally I would like to match to the gunmetal on the front of the car. The wheels are Vossen finished in anthracite.

 

Following thread. In the previous thread the best look that matched the best with the front black chrome grille… the guy removed the trim and painted it

I’ve seen the blue bat overlays and the black chrome vinyl looks kind of matte

 

Not a GSF but I had mine wrapped with Avery Dennison Supreme Wrap in Gloss Black Metallic which is a 95% match to the color of the grill and lower bumper inserts on the 2016+ GS. Not sure if the GSF grill and lower inserts are the same as the GS F-Sport, The gloss or satin black would contrast to much IMO
