Don’t get me wrong, I loved my 2013 F sport...but I’m a human I suppose. I had been searching for a 16 or 17 F sport and couldn’t find one within my mileage range, colors, options, etc. The few that I did find were way overpriced at $40,000 or more and the dealers wouldn’t budge...or they were hours away. I even looked at a new one and the sales chick was nice enough to insult me with an offer of $54,000...no less. I branched out and looked at Audi, BMW, and eventually Kia. I drove the Stinger last year and loved it. I kept having to get myself over the badge. My wife kept telling me I wouldn’t enjoy the brand swap either. Over that time, I finally realized who gives a crap what folks think about what you drive. I was able to get a killer deal on a new fully loaded 2019 Kia Stinger GT2. The MSRP rivals a new GS350, but I got this one for less than a CPO 2016 F sport. It’s the dark gray color I’ve been after. It even had the light colored interior that I thought was gone. That interior got my wife on board as it matches her gray on light colored RX350 now. Check out some pics. It drives like a dream.

The Kia badge may have been something to hide a decade ago, but they and Hyundai have so stepped up their game, the question now is, why wouldn’t you drive one? Congrats, those cars are sharp looking.

Congrats, I also traded my GS for a K900. Like you said, that badge is hard to get over but "the feel of the wheel sealed the deal"

Congrats! So what are the key differences between your Stinger and GS F-Sport in terms of handling?

I haven’t had a chance to get it on a twisty road yet. At toll road speed it feels planted and stable for sure. Taking a right turn or left into the neighborhood indicates it’s just a bit more planted than the GS. They both feel like a good sized car. The instant torque and power on the stinger makes me think controlling the rear end in a turn would be easier. Turn in is pretty dang good.

I'm not a fan of the fit and finish of the hyundai so I wouldn't go there but the stinger does look nice inside. all the reviews say its an amazing car do congrats

What do you think of the interior materials/quality?

I test drove it when it first came out and loved the features and the way it drove, but I couldn't get passed the interior materials. It felt like I was in my fiancee's Tucson.
