2013 GS 350 AWD 100K Service
Recently just joined the Lexus club, but Lexus has been notorious for its reliability. I have the 13 GS 350 AWD, non F-sport, approaching almost a 100K (currently at 95k).
Im the second owner but every single service has been done at the Lexus dealer from the day the car was sold with records available on the Lexus site. Recently just replaced the brakes and rotors (with OEM parts), synthetic oil change and brand new tires. Otherwise, car is fabulous!!
Just want to see/hear, has anyone passed the 100k benchmark and if so, any special recommendations in terms of service? The Lexus dealer does the engine coolant replacement at a 100k but I was thinking of just changing the spark plugs at a 100k (last time was around 58k)... what’s your opinions? Will do the spark plug replacement myself because the dealer charges way too much lol
anyways, appreciate it!

You don’t need to do the spark plugs. They can handle way more than 40k miles.

For some reason on the 450h lexus recommends changing the spark plugs every 100k miles, not sure why they have shorter intervals for the non-hybrid.
I changed the oem plus on my girlfriends Honda accord at 105k miles and although the point was wore down they were very clean. These iridium plugs last at least 100k miles.

If the brake fluid has not been serviced, I would certainly include a fluid flush.

Why wouldn't it have shorter interval? The hybrid would spend some of that 100k running with the gas engine off and when it is running, it is typically when under higher load which is when the engine is more efficient and keeps the plugs clean.

Check for any suspension issues (struts, control arms, out of round wheels). Also if there are any issues with the exhaust system. Those were the two areas that gave me the most trouble on my previous 2GS once I got close to 100k.
I agree with other posters about the plugs, you should be good since it was done about 40k miles earlier. I changed the rear differential fluid on my '13 AWD at 48k miles and it didn't make too much of a drive-ability difference but if I were at 100k, i'd look to change both front and rear differential fluids.
I feel like once you pass 100k and the car has been looked-after well, its a matter of doing the recommended services. Doing anything extra is more about your preferences and tolerances.

Definitely going to get the engine coolant and diff fluid done. The cabin filter was replaced at 90k and just got an oil change at the Lexus dealer! Thanks for the input 👍🏼

My shocks and suspension components seem to be holding up very well. I have the adaptive variable suspension on my GS but recently had a 160 point inspection for free and everything checked out. Will check again at exactly 100k and keep you all updated. Thanks for the input!

Wow, that stinks but I definitely will check my suspension components again at 100k. Had a 160 point inspection at 94k and all checked out. Hopefully stays that way haha
