Exactly! Lexus ignores this dangerous issue. I keep reading it's the steering rack but after years of dealing with it I now think it is the power steering module. You can buy a used one for $150 or get a new one from Lexus FOR $705. I don't take the Lexus on long trips.

Same here
Will never buy another Lexus no matter how great the overall car might be.

Exact same on my 2015 FSport as well. After about 4 hours of high way driving it made that sticking effect. Never happens on street driving. What is interesting during the 9 hours road trip after 4 hours it started to give me same issue about every 1 to 2 hours

Simply put, the steering on my GS seems to stick in position at freeway speeds. The car is the base model and does not have LKA. I purchased it from Lexus Glendale in 2017 with 30k miles on it. It was a lease turn in and was in immaculate condition. It is CPO. The typical scenario - I'm driving about 65 on a smooth freeway and the steering seems to stick in position - as I try to move to the left within my lane, the steering wheel resists for a second or two, then seems to catch up and complies. It's a bit unnerving as you can imagine for that brief moment. I took it to my local Lexus dealer (Ontario, CA) about a year ago and they were not able to duplicate. I've tolerated it since as I don't drive the freeways that often, but am now trying to find a resolution once more. The car is back at Ontario Lexus and I'm waiting for their diagnosis. Please let me know if you've experience something different - and if you were able to find a solution. Thanks!
did you ever find anything out?

any updates?? I’m having the same issue, the dealership said it was the front struts so we had those replaced but the problem is still happening. I’m not sure what to do

Maybe there is some binding in suspension, maybe spray all joints with WD40 or something, not gona make it worse, people do it on old cars + free anticorrosion
