No sound at all help
no sound coming from the speakers and the volume buttons do nothing.
I checked the fuse but its all working good, I think it might be the amplifier problem but wanted to check before going to the dealer any ideas?

Had the same issue a few days ago. One of the other forums said to hold down the power/volume button and cycle the power. It worked for me.

I did buy a new amp. Audio system works fine now. As far as the source of the water, I am not sure. I put the new amp inside a plastic box and drilled some ventilation holes in it, so hopefully water cannot ruin the new amp. That area is actually dry most of the time I check it.
I saw a post by another forum member that said they were getting water in the same area and it was caused by a bad pinch weld in the wheel well. That could possibly be the cause of my problem. My car is out of warranty so I can't really get the dealer to track down the issue for free like that other member did.
I was also involved in a minor accident that resulted in a dent above the rear right wheel well on my car. It is possible that the accident caused some additional damage to the area behind it that I cannot see, and now allows for some water intrusion. I can't figure out where the water is coming from, so I am not really sure. I have gotten inside the trunk and had someone spray all around the area with a hose while I watch, and I can't figure it out.
I plan to get the dent from the accident repaired eventually, and I will ask the body shop to check for areas where water could get in when they are doing the repair.
