Default Rattle from passenger side front seat

So I've been trying to track down this rattle for sometime now. First i dealt with the sunroof rattle which was fixed by the updated seal (weatherstrip) and I've had this one stubborn rattle that I couldn't find until today. I am almost certain that it is the passenger side front seat because when I go over bumps i see it shaking and then i hear the rattling.

Any ideas on how to fix this problem? If i can cure this one problem i will finally be relieved. I have checked other forums (such as the RX one) and they have attempted to fix it by shoving a towel under the back of the seat. I truly do not want to do something like this

So if anyone has any suggestions please do share I will forever be in your debt.

I have the same rattle and would be interested to find out what has been done by others to remedy it.

You sure it's not the steering assembly cover. That's where mine rattles. If I lightly push up on bottom cover, rattle stop. No idea how I can fix it. Don't want to remove my steering wheel again. Just had 4 wheel alignment to center the steering wheel.

Check the headrest. I had a rattle on the drivers side and took me an hour going over bumps to hear where it was coming from. Turns out a nut had come loose inside and started bouncing around in the headrest. Shook it until it fell out.

Will look into that thanks appreciate it

Update:So it seems to be gone after adjusting the headrest and pushing it all the way down. I'll have to keep an eye on it as we had a dramatic weather change here in Toronto so perhaps its just not as prevalent as before. I'll keep you posted!

Have you tried taking off the headrest to shake it around? Glad the rattle is sort of gone. I'm in Cleveland, OH, still a bit cold and there's squeaking in my dash and glove box lock rattle that I need to figure out. The cold brings out the annoyances.

Yup attempted that today with the warmer weather here in Toronto its definetly harder to tell whether or not the headrest solved this or just the warmer weather making it less noticeable.

Thank you for your help i hope the headrest resolved this haha 😅

I had a similar issue, turned out to be the passenger seat belt latch, it would rattle against the B-pillar when not in use.

Although this likely isn't it, when people take off their seat belts on the passenger side they frequently just fling it wherever, and the buckle is rarely found in a "clean, straight" state of existence when the seat is unoccupied.

bingo! I am constantly reaching over to fix the buckle after someone exits the passenger seat.

Unfortunately i can still hear it when there is a passenger and the seat belt is in use.

Thanks for the suggestion
