Default Key Card for GS

I spoke with a dealership on getting a working key card for the GS350 but was told it did not exist.

The key card for the GSF is 89904-30L50 (+ 69515-30350 master key).

Has anyone tried swapping out the radio on these unit with an aftermarket solution to make it work?

Wanted to get some input before I started experimenting. Thanks.

I thought the card existed just not for the refreshed years?
*edit* nvm I saw some old posts from lobuxracer about it only being the korean spec one...need to figure out if the gsf one will work then, parts number for gsf card is: 89904-30L50. Need someone at the dealership to order one and test it out or find out some other way

30-45 minutes. I'm was pleasantly surprised it worked and it came with the F logo on the key.

Just looked up the part number
https://www.lexuspartsnow.com/parts/...904-30l50.html

its the GSF key and it works

I really like the weight to it

How much did the Lexus dealer charge to program this? Will this work with a 2015 GS 350 F-Sport?

can't say for sure. My dealer wasn't sure about it either and said if it doesn't work they'll return it. It was weird because I asked about it and they said they opened up the GSF, LC, and LX card keys they had in stock and they said the key wouldn't work, but there was an out of country spec key they could order and they could try it. Turned out they just gave me the standard GSF key, (not sure if its the one they openned) but it worked. They didn't have the physical key which they said they would order and mail to me so that was odd. They charged me 71$ to order program the key.

Also, they often mistake my car as a GSF at the service bay cause I have the rims... not sure if they just started off with the GSF and it ended up working or what

Why wouldn't they offer this anymore, it's literally the best part of my car.

How thin is the card? Thing enough to put into wallet?

Also, I'm guessing it doesn't work with 2013-2015 models?

Mine is a 2012 and came with the car. I carry mine in my murse, you don't need George Costanza's wallet!

Awesome! Looks like 2 credit cards thick. Not bad at all.

Thanks for the pictures!

I have never seen this. Does this replicate all keyless entry and start functions of the regular key fob? So essentially the regular key fob without buttons? And the point of this is to just carry something slimmer?

pretty much. theres a slot for a thin physical key you also can buy just in case the battery dies but you don't have to buy it if you're really cheap. I got it cause I don't carry keys with my so I always just had the fob in the case, my wallet, and phone to grab whenever i leave, but now its just in my wallet. I never used the buttons so its nice to have one less thing to not have to run around the house looking for cause I leave left the fob in a different pair of pants or its hidden under something
