Default Driver Door Rattle

My 2013 GS350 has this annoying rattle in the driver door. it is not the window switch if thats what you are thinking. i took off the door panel and i still hear it when i play music. it sounds like a loose bolt of a penny between 2 pieces of metal. Has anyone else had this problem if so what was it. its driving me crazy. To better describe what it sounds like its a metal buzzing sound when the music is turned up as if a bolt is about to fall of the screw or a piece of metal is vibrating hitting another piece of metal. It only does it when playing music i turned the music off and tried tapping the door in a few places but nope no sound so only when the music is on.

I'm noticing something similar. While it's too cold around here to investigate, when it gets a little warmer I plan on playing back some white noise at different frequencies to help isolate the rattling. If you don't have a disc containing those types of tracks, many popular music services (ex. Spotify) offer this. Just search for "test tones". Once you find the resonant frequency it should be pretty easy to locate the source of the rattle.

Any chance you also have a squeaky steering wheel? I have a loud buzz when I rev the car but I think it's coming from the cause of the squeak(clock spring)

I have a quiet squeak coming from the steering wheel when I turn it sounds like plastic rubbing together.

I think we may have found the source of the problem. For the record I thought it was coming from the door too, although it's hard to tell as it only happens above 4000 rpm. That squeak is coming from a warped clock spring housing, it's likely the buzzing is too.
