Accelerated rear tire wear... especially on one side (picture)

I'm pretty sure I've got a couple thousand more left in the rest of them. I just took the rim off and applied about half a pint of rubber cement over the belt that is showing. Should get me back and forth to work for another few weeks. Besides, my commute isn't over rough terrain, it's 40 miles a day down mostly freeway at 70-75mph. I bet they'll be fine.

Please replace that tire and get your alignment checked. Don't become a statistic and a news ticker tape at the bottom of the TV screen... please don't.

Man that guy had a ton of stuff in his car. I've never been in a wreck that was my fault and I don't plan to start now. I rotated that tire to the opposite side to stop the wear. It's supposed to rain this week and the tires are unidirectional so I'm going to try and avoid the storms on my way to and from work. Props to the discount tire folk, they told me their next big sale will be memorial day so I only have to make them last another couple months. I also inflated it up to 55psi to try and get as much weight on the center tread as possible. I'm actually really surprised how well the cement held on to the tire, I figured it wouldn't work at all. It's really just extra insurance, since the tire was already holding air.

Mods should lock this thread. Dude is obviously a troll if he is a) fixing that tire with rubber cement and continuing to drive 40 miles a day at freeway speeds and b) placing a directional tire in the wrong orientation and hoping to simply "avoid" rain.
What the actual F.
What the actual F.

Maybe he's trying to get his money's worth out of his tires like some people trying to save money by using 87 octane gasoline.
