Interesting testing. Is AmazonBasics Full Synthetic Motor Oil better than Mobil 1?
 

At $4.99 per quart and delivered to your door instead of going to Walmart and paying more, $34.93 for 7 quarts amazon basics (5 quart and single quart have same exact price per quart) vs 53.36 for 7 quarts mobile 1(1 5 quart 2 single quart)

When it came to the bearing wear test, Mobile 1 was better than Amazon, but not by much. In the other test, Amazon scored better. Not to say I would do this, but interesting video.

I buy my Mobil 1 at Walmart 5 quart jug for $24. In the spring and fall Mobil gives a $12 rebate limit of two. Take pic of receipt all done on line. Check comes in about five weeks. Brings the price down to $2.40 a quart.

I guess they don't have the rebate now(checked walmart.com), good to know. I buy the 5 quarts from Walmart, but haven't seen anything about a rebate last time.

Check on Mobil 1 site. Usually starts around March through April and September through October.

Yeah, I buy Mobil 1 everytime they have the $12 rebate deal. It's a steal.

I'll check back in a couple weeks. I think when the silly Nappa rebate ends(Feb. 28th) the real saving with Walmart begins.
