Quick question about fog lights on f-sport
#2
There are JDM fogs for F-sports which are a direct drop in mechanically to the US F-sport, but electrically they need to be wired in.
There's a big thread on how to add all of the JDM equipment here: https://www.clublexus.com/forums/gs-...eo-inside.html
I went with the ijdmtoy led units and just piggybacked off my parking lights. Thought I had a thread on how to install them but can't find it

If you scroll down, fellow member @nyczyang27 mentioned that everything was plug and play, you just needed the f sport fog bezels: https://www.clublexus.com/forums/gs-...x-gs350-2.html

You might be able to work with one of the vendors here (modinjapan, merakiautoworks come to mind) to get the Japan spec OEM Lexus Japan fog lamps/bezel/harness. I recently worked with Steve at Japantunedparts.com for some small Japan only items for my GS who might be able to source them as well.
Here are a few other vendors that have the fogs listed with pics and details:
https://lexusboutique.net/products/g...-lamp-unit-set
https://www.nigel-jdmparts.com/index.php?route=product/product&product_id=1943
I can't confirm, but the fogs on the international spec GS look like they use the same LED fogs lamps and brackets found on some of the newer Lexus models (81220-48051; 81210-48051)
Fellow member mrpartsman has added them to his refreshed GS as shown in his pics: https://www.clublexus.com/forums/gs-...-part-2-a.html
Edit: If I was going to try this, i'd probably consider the eBay knockoffs for $98 to just get the exterior bezel and bracket, but buy OEM fog lamps/wiring from my local dealer. This way, you can avoid having to pay shipping fees and have to wait for shipping from Japan.

just installed the knock off from eBay on a 2016 f sport those led fogs are only good for looks since the are pretty dim and the installation required some modifications to the windshield water container . this set up was about 4 hour installed and not worth the time.

For anyone looking for 2016+ Fogs, fellow member @peasodos mentioned that he has had positive experiences with jp-parts.com. Here is is the page that lists the parts which are relatively cheap for the 2016+ fog lamp bracket, standard fog bezels, f-sport bezels, bolts, nuts etc (the housing/bulb itself can be found from reputable sellers online for anywhere between $70 and $150 typically).

If I had to install on a '16+ i'd just have it wired to come on with my headlamps or parking lights...but I definitely understand the desire for a more custom touch (e.g. a dedicated switch or OE stalk).

I'm ready to spend the money and get the fogs, and I am cool with the full LED kit and OEM stalk from Nigel-jdmparts BUT I estimated the shipping at $142 on their site?!?!?! Is that right?
I'm not keen on $100+ shipping for fog lights. Does anyone have a source for the full parts list and/or kit?
