Greetings all..... bought my first Lexus about a week ago....

Im in Oregon, 2015 GS 350 F sport with M/L. 76,000 miles for $24.5K, LIQUID platinum with the dark red interior.

bought it in Portland.... they also had a white with the burgandy (Cabornet?) with 60,000 miles, f sport with M/L for $25.5k

Ive been wondering if I made the right choice. Im loving the car....the lower mileage may have been a wiser choice but I prefered the Platinum....

I live about 2 hours from Portland... seeing 2015 with AWD 100k miles for $29.5 kand 2016 GS 350 with lower miles for $33k

hope that helps..... I knew I wanted a Gs 350 F sport..... but every time Indrive it I love it even more!

Happy Shopping..... at some point jump in and enjoy it!

You have to ask how long the car has been on the dealership lot.

The longer the car sits on the lot, the dealership will correct the price lower and lower until it sells, or until they give up on it and wholesale it out.

That particular car has been there for a while. They really want to move it, but there is not much they can do.

San Antonio $27k 2015 FSport 19k miles

They won't negotiate price, will try hard to sell the extended warranty, and will try to force you to finance with them so they don't make buying all that easy. However, if you get a purchase agreement and bring a check for that amount from a bank of your choice with better rate, you're otd for $29k.

I got mine from the Echo Park lot in DFW for $27.7 otd but without f-sport by choice. I think I was at the dealership for 3 hours so not too bad (and that includes sending it over to service for a little more oil as I checked and it was a little low).

Lightbulb Great thread

I am on the same boat. I have been eyeing the 2014/2015 gs 350 F sport since last year. I am in socal as well, thanks of the posts. The lowest price I have seen posted was about 28K for a 2015 GS 350 Fsport from Keyes Van Nuys, but their not CPO. I called them and they mentioned they pass the savings on to the customers by no CPO cars. It's not a deal breaker if they are not CPO. Any one purchase a F sport from Keyes, Glendale or Longo? I see higher pricing from Longo compared to the rest. I live close to longo, I just gota drop in one of these days. I am willing to buy a 2015 F sport with ML at 28K OTD, what you think?

Hi

I’m a new member here. About a month ago I got the following:

2015 Lexus GS 350 F Sport, CPO, White exterior, Cabernet Interior
Dealer: Newport Lexus
Options: Illuminated Door Sill, Trunk mat cargo net..etc (a base F-sport)
OD: 30,301
Price: $31,190 (no haggle price)
Price Out the door: $34,149 with all the tax, title, fees
Financed 5 year at 3.9% (this was in September)

The car was a lease and has complete service history at Lexus.
I also reviewed the work that was perform on the car to get it CPO (Dealer cost $3579 to get the car CPO)
: New paint on the front bumper, New keys, 4 new tires Michelin Pilot Sport and other miscl services. The brakes were at 8mm (8 out of 10mm left)
I was able to see this information up front and is also available online on their website.
This car was sitting in the showroom.
I also asked for F-Sport keys cover, correct all chips I found visually (paint filler), wax and buff out all blemish I saw, and repaint one of the wheel (not to my satisfaction but was better than the badly stained looking original)

Crazy how much more expensive these GS run in various cities and how the price fluctuates between state to state depending on options and miles. I am in Chicago and lots of great 2015 GS 350 F-Sport options available here. Within a 50 miles radius I have 7 Lexus dealers to choose from so it's very competitive and great for me as a buyer to wheel and deal. Lots of 2015 GS 350 just came off of leases and with 2019 around the corner dealers out here are really thirsty to get rid of them for some great deals.

I just picked up an L/Certified 2015 GS350 F-Sport with 35k in Obsidian loaded with all *options minus HUD for $32,500 at 3.9% and put $18k down, financing remaining balance. The remaining factory warranty runs through Jan.2020 (car sold in Jan 2016) and the L certification adds another 2 years (unlimited miles) after the factory warranty ends plus I purchased an additional 2 years warranty (Lexus Platinum) for $1900 just in case that will extend it through 2024. They also included 4 complimentary Factory Maintenance services for 2 years or @ 40k,45k,50k and 55k. They also replaced all 4 tires with new Michelin Primacy MX4.

* Options:
F-Sport Package
Navigation Package
Cold Weather Package
LKA
Blind Spot Monitor w/ Pwr Folding Mirrors
One Touch Power Trunk
Intuitive Park Assist
Accessory Package
All Weather Mats

Quick question. I am also looking at purchasing a used 2015 or 2016 GS. Being that the car is being discontinued after 2019, do you all think that the car values will drop significantly?

Every car looses value whether its being discounted or not. As soon as you leave the car dealer lot you'll get hit with roughly 10-11% value. One year later average depreciation is 25%, 3 years is 45% after 5 years on average about 60%+ if not more depending on model, year, mileage, market, demand etc.. For the most part, they’re just rough estimates. There are too many undefined factors like the perceived condition, gas prices, and trends that can screw up the numbers for everyone, so most use averages to get you in the ballpark. But yes, ALL car depreciate, period.

No. A car being discontinued has no real effect on its value, it may go up some in value in some cases if there is a gap or the replacement is not appealing. It is not set in stone the GS is going away, it may just take a year or so for a new gen to come out.

My understanding is that it's only be discontinued in Europe but I could be wrong.

Your understanding is correct. Also discontinued Toyota/Lexus vehicles don’t depreciate harder look at the FJ Crusier prices, it’s holding strong. Same with the Venza.
