Default Borla Axleback Exhaust

I was finally able to get the borla axleback exhaust delivered and installed. Not a cold start but here is a quick video. I'll try to get another one or two up in the next couple days.

I really like the exhaust and my crappy iPhone doesn't do the sound any justice. There is a nice growl when it starts up and there is no drone. Quiet when cruising on the highway but it gets more agreessive when you give it some gas. My only regret is not getting this sooner.

Sound really nice. How many miles on the exhaust so far and has it been broken in yet?

What part of NYC are you from? I'd love meet up and hear it in person if you're up for it.

Just about 500 miles on it now.

Brooklyn -- I'd be down to meet up. Shoot me a PM.

Damn... I got magnaflows put on about 10 days ago which I loved at first but they have developed a serious drone cruising down the highway. I know you said you haven't experienced a drone but at what speeds do you cruise? I'm usually up around 80 mph. I was thinking about either Tanabe or Borla and decided to try a cheap route first. Seems to have been a waste of money at this point.

I just drove upstate for work right after getting it installed and was cruising at 75-80 for ~240 miles roundtrip. There was no noise at all which was great. Otherwise, I'm usually around 55-70 or 25-35 mph since most of my driving is in Brooklyn.

I've researched every available exhaust for the GS as extensively as I could without hearing them in person. The Borla exhaust has the perfect amount of oomph for me and I highly recommend it.

Oh damn Capt! The Magnaflows were a no-go!? Glad I didn’t go that route - I had quotes too.
I’m still loving the Tanabe. Highly recommended.

Yeaaaaaa i'm super disappointed/annoyed. It started out good but went downhill after a few days. It has a pretty bad drone when crusing at 60-85 mph and drives me crazy when going up any type of hill. Going to have my stock put back on here next week and go back to the drawing board on what to do. Probably going to sideline it for now and focus on other projects. Going to be painting the calipers and getting a chrome delete done in the next few weeks. Ordering a Quickjack as well so I'm excited to start using that.

rtalnique - Any update on the exhaust sound? How about a cold-start clip?
