Searching : Back in the market
Just sold my 08 LS460. Having owned three prior GSs I'm looking for a 13-15 Luxury Package. Non black interior or exterior.
A lot of the ones advertised as Luxury Package are not?!
Feeling is F Sport not as good as Luxury Pkg around here?
Looked at a F Sport 2013 very clean but tires were not new as advertised. Fully Loaded, but no ML sound,no rear wheel steering, no HUD...
57,000 miles for $25,750 with a "transferable factory extended warranty " from private seller that isn't!?
Suggestions on finding a Luxury pkg car?
Thanks

The 13-15 AWD GS's with the Luxury package in the Northeast were typically delivered with the following 18" wheelset: http://www.greeleygazette.com/press/...exus-GS350.jpg
Looking for that wheel design the easiest way to find a Lux package GS. The wood steering wheel is also a standard on the Luxury Package of the 4GS. Its much harder to find a Lux pkg as the F-Sports and Premium versions were more popular but they are sprinkled about.
Here's a few examples that are Certified:

Had a 2015 GS F Sport until it got munched in an accident
Been on the the lookout for a GS450h -- Spent much time checking out Cars.com/
Lexus Certified. The Luxury package in my mind is def the way to go to get the
benefits of the upgraded interior/ leather, etc along with the AVS suspension.
With the hybrid you also add HP with the Atkinson engine-- the bamboo interior is
sweet and you get the extra MPG as well
Agree with the above in terms of identifying a Lux unit-- the tri-head lamps will be
a dead give away for the 2012 - 2014 units. Good hunting.

No unfortunately not -- that is what contributes to the rarity of finding a Lux package --
and a Hybrid on top of that. This rig MSRP was over 75K and doubtless had to be a
special order on top of that. Course that is the beauty of the CPO as well-- someone
else takes the initial depreciation hit.
Another suggestion if you have not already done so-- download the online GS brochures
for say the 2014 and 2016 MY so you can see the different packages and options available.

Look for the wood steering wheel. Easiest way. Although you will usually have to sort through some pictures, since exterior photos are generally shown first. Good luck, love my GS and the lux package.
