Default 2015 gs 350 maintenance plan

Just purchased 2015 gs 350 RWD certified with 45k miles and got the extended warranty and pre paid maintance plan. How much should I be factoring in for maintance starting at 65k miles as certification coveres maintance for 20k miles should I decide to cancel prepaid maintenance plan?

Any info would be helpful.

How much did you get the car for without the extended warranty and pre-paid maintenance?

I think prepaid maintenance plans are a waste...just lots of inspections and tire rotations on top of oil and air filter changes. If you look at the maintenance schedule for the GS350, the services between oil changes (5K miles) are just tire rotations and inspections. If doing it at the dealer gives you peace of mind, then keep it.

Do you have an Owners Manual and the Warranty & Service Guide for your car?

Beginning on Page 48 of the attached (see below) Warranty & Service Guide you will find when services are due.

30k intervals are the larger services. Here is the maintenance schedule (Starts on page 48): https://www.lexus.com/pdf/service/MY..._GS350_WSG.pdf

Oil change at the dealer can easily be $100 if you pay full price (you can usually always find a coupon). Tire rotation probably $25.

I made the maintenance schedule into a table.

Because I like tables.

But the pre paid maintance plan coveres only factor recommended items yet excludes fluids and hoses..

Personally, the main reason I went with the GS over a 535i was because of reliability and the idea of not needing any type of extended warranty. Might still be running a risk but its a much safer risk with the GS.

But I paid 1700 almost for the prepaid maintance which is different than the warranty so trying to decide if I should cancel it or not

I depends what is covered on extended warranty. In my case I got one on Mercedes CPO vehicle on top of CPO coverage for two years. Extended warranty cover literally
everything. It is in writing on warranty certificate. So I got 2+2=4 years coverage.
