Default From CT - ES - now GS 350 F Sport

Hello. Please welcome my new ride...Atomic Silver/Rioja Red. I took delivery of this fine auto on 7/8. Windows have been tinted 30% all sround. Sorry for the pictures as I just took a quick photo while parked in the garage. RSR springs are due to arrive tomorrow and possible install on Friday. Big difference of course from CT and ES 350. I felt like a grandma driving those 2 cars and have always had my eyes on the GS F Sport so I finally jumped the gun! So far, so good. Will post more pictures after the side moldings install and Ibex paint treatment by the dealership.
Another side view

Delivery day: 7/8/18

What exactly is an Ibex treatment? Have you considered a ceramic coating?

For what dealers charge for treatments, you might be able to get better results for less $$ with paint correction products & ceramic.

The Ibex treatment is a paint protection that I got for free from the dealer originally asking $695. It is scheduled to be applied next Monday as well as the body side molding

Congrats on the new ride, it looks great! The color looks pretty good in pics...I have not seen one with that color in person.
Frankly I rarely see a 4th gen GS.

You just reminded me I need to get my windows tinted!

Have fun with the major upgrade to the GS!

Thank you. You are correct, I hardly see GS’s here in San Diego as well but see a lot of ES 350. I just had IBEX paint protection applied to it today and some body side moldings. Tomorrow will be installing RS-R lowering springs to lessen the huge wheel gap! Good luck with having your windows tinted. I used ceramic film on mine and it turned out very nice, IMO.

Would you mind stating the brand of ceramic tint? I am leaning towards ceramic too. I don't need the extra protection right now but will be moving to FL in about 4 years and I'l need all the help I can get.

Not sure I will do 30% on the fronts due to legal issues. Although the police probably would not mess with a luxury car as much as a Honda civic with a kid driving it. Hmmm....

@SpicedRum...the shop I went to used Rayno Ceramic Film. You can YouTube them with reviews from shop owners. I'm impressed how it turned out..really nice. I am not worried about tinting the front windows 30% because you can still clearly see the inside and the tech even said with the type of car it is that I should not get hassled by the cops (I hope).

I used to have a lighter tint on my front windows (30/20) but since moving to a coupe I did 20 all around. It doesn't look right to have different shades on a coupe with those big *** front windows.

I'll probably do the same if I ever get another 4-door, I think it looks better with same shade all around. Just act normal when cops are around.

How can you (yes - I mean you) act normal if you are not normal?
