Can't go wrong with VHB from 3M

It comes with double sided tape, not sure of brand but it's really thin and not 3M. So I bought 3M #03614 Super Stregth Molding Tape. So what I'll say after a few days is the 3M tape is twice as thick and very tacky. But it didn't seal in the middle along the front. So when I washed it it got some water in the trunk. So I'm going to pull it back up and try to find some thinner yet just as sticky tape.

Today I put 20mm spacers on the front and it made it so much better, I put 20mm on the rear but it was too much. So I pulled them off and going to get some 15mm and see how they look.

Stock fitment front

Front with 20mm spacer

Front with 20mm spacer

Goodness... I am going to end up doing a lot of things you are doing. Are you going to try the tape the carbon spoiler came with you do you not trust it? And the spacers...where can I get a set of those?? Fits so much better up front. curious to see what the 15mm looks like in the rear.

No, I'm going to see if I can get the stuff from the factory. The stock spoiler has a piece of foam that goes along the outside that seals it. Then there are patches of two sided tape that hold it down along with the plastic anchors and 2 screws. If I can't get the factory stuff I'll find a way to get some.

I wouldn't be so concerned at night as the lights will be much more visible then in the day time. But I don't see an issue with these either way.

This is lights on only in daylight. Tinted on left stock on right.

This is brakes on in day time. Tinted on left stock on right.

Thanks, I shoot with a Canon 5D MKIII currently. These we're all shot with a Canon 70-200mm II 2.8.

Put 15mm spacers on the rear tonight. I tried 20mm the other day and it was too much for me. This is still a little much for me, I think 10-12mm, but I'm done swapping these out. It's not out far enough to bother me. I have some more parts coming that should help hide the tire. Anywhere here is stock vs the spacers...also disregard the dirtyness, it rained bad last night and I had to drive through a field . Also it seems the little bit of spacing out has made the tire more vertical as you can see it was leaning in a bit.

So after about a 25 mile drive I checked it again and the car settled and fits much nicer to where I wanted it and am much happier now with the fit.

I need to lower mine. Specs of the lowering kit? Also, mine seems to be higher in the back than the front. Anyone else have that issue?

they are RSR superdowns springs, around $300 on amazon. It dropped it about 3" which looks awesome but will tell you it is much rougher then stock because it is very stiff. Handles good, looks good, but if you cant handle the hard hit from bad roads I would not advise it and maybe go for the RSR downs. But for me, i dont care because it looks so much better. And yes the rear sits higher then the front stock.
