What did you do about the head unit? Nevermind I see. kept it OEM. With your dsp are you able to play all the Hi res files with no down conversion?

The dap can play lossless files such as FLAC natively. I'm guessing the line out is going to the aux in for the radio and therefore no down conversion is happening.
