Default HELP! - GSF Calipers on GS

What's up everyone?

So I have a problem, and I am hoping someone here can help out. I got the GSF rotors and calipers in hopes to install them on my GS FSport. The fronts bolt right up, but the rears do not - the mounting points are not the same. Does anyone know of a place where I can get caliper adapter brackets? Or any other suggestions you have would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance!

I believe you’ll need the rear knuckles from the gsf to make the caliper to bolt up.

Thanks for the response, Tommastie. I tried the completed knuckle, hub, parking brake assembly from the 2015 RCF (as the knuckle and calipers are the same part numbers on the GSF and RCF), but the parking brake cable if what stopped me from completing the job. The length of the cable and ends were different, so swapping the cables did not work. I will have to try a 2016 of 2017 knuckle and parking brake cable if I can get my hands on a used one.

Good to know the front rotor and calipers are bolt-on. Wished I knew earlier - just bought new calipers and brake pad. Keep us updated!

I figured I was the first one doing the rear conversion as I couldn't find ANY details on doing it. I am assuming people have done the front before as they bolt up just fine. I have never seen anyone on this forum with it...

there was a guy that did it here, and he sold his set up saying it was a direct swap to our gs350 with all the required parts

Ahhh ok... so it looks like he had them and never mounted them. I say that because he says he is not certain if it will fit AWD vs RWD... Well, I will keep everyone updated. Thanks guys!

Hi DaPope10, any update on your swap? Also is your F Sport AWD or RWD?

Hey Buddy,

I appreciate all your due diligence. If you can’t get the calipers to fit your rear axle, why not try going with the big brake kit from one of our sponsors over at RR racing. They have a kits around $600-$900. And it’s a fixed caliper set up just like what Lexus uses. Good Luck

Hey man,

Currently getting a custom bracket made. Hope to get everything completed in the next 2-3 weeks. I will definitely keep everyone updated on the progress. And, I have the RWD.

Thanks! I will consider if this does not work out...
