I would not, unless I was desperate for the Accord's interior space, or limited in finance, or I really wanted to lower global warming.

I am not knocking the Accord, as I have driven one (albeit in college) and drive a newer model Camry now. That said, upgrading to the GS for power and luxury makes sense.

Honda makes a great car, especially with their Accord lineup. On that note, I still would not make the trade. I sat in the Grand Touring and there is STILL a major difference between my '14 GS and the new Accord. Just from the differences in finishings and the FWD alone, I would not say the trade is worth it.

It would be a huge step down. The only Honda’s I have ever been satisfied with were my 2007 MDX and my 2007 RL. Acura’s. . Both had Super Handling All Wheel Drive, and at the time were outstanding in that way. The RL was heavy and not fast, but had so much advanced technology and very nice lines. The MDX was great looking (the only year without the hideous beak on the grill) and had an awesome DVD audio capable system. We all know Acura has been on a downhill slide ever since, and that’s why I stepped up to Lexus. The GS350 F Sport is hands down my favorite sport/luxury sedan in existence. I will have this care for at least another 5-6 years, and then I’ll sell my ‘14 and hopefully Lexus will then have another rear wheel drive sport/luxury car to offer me. I’ll be a senior citizen, but I’ll sill be looking for the same perfect balance that the GS F Sport provides. Front wheel drive cars blow. My mom has had many Accords. Nice but not even close to Lexus.

Some people like new and shiny things, I get that, but trading a 3yo GS for a new Accord is probably the worst financial decision you can possibly make. You are losing out on one of the key values of a Lexus - reliability - and you are taking the most depreciation hit of the car ownership lifecycle. And like others mentioned, it's not the same class of car.

I really want to thank everyone for their opinions on this and contributing to the poll I created. I've owned a 2016 Accord V6 Touring, 2016 Camry XSE XSP V6 and then traded to a 2015 GS-350 F-Sport, which I've owned for one year. The lack of audio ***** on the Accord and uncomfortable seating took me to the Camry. Then, I test drove the GS after owning the Camry for 6 months. The only reason I even considered the Accord was due to the new technology, Honda Sense and everything that goes with it. The lane keep on the 2016 Touring was very impressive, I must say. I just didn't want to spend on a newer GS with these newer features. If the choice was between a new Accord and new Camry, I'd take the Accord. I've just always liked the Accord but after reading this and thinking over the weekend, I stayed away from my local Honda dealership. Every time I go to the garage to look at the GS or drive it, I realize that it is definitely a keeper!

Little things that makes a huge difference in overall driving experience.
Power Auto Telescopic Steering Wheel,
Auto dim side mirrors,
Audio sound system,
Refined driving dynamics and the quality of materials.
I would only do it if my first priority would be to save on gas. Yes the Accord will have a better resale value.
Thank You.

I would probably trade. the new accord unibody is immensely stronger than the GS.---talking several magnitudes stronger. much much more solid/safer car. to me, the bones of a car take priority than whatever doo-dads/heritage it may have.
i do love the interior of the GS though. It would have to be a GS-F for me to not pick the accord.
