Reduced Capacity Sticker
I was looking up my color code to learn the real name instead of just dark blue (8W3 - Metro Blue Metallic) and noticed an added-on sticker stating my capacity was reduced by 3Kg or 7lbs. Anyone seen this before? Hmm, appears I can not post a picture.

I believe this has to do with post-manufacturer installed options. Once your car makes it to the dealer, they may add certain options that add weight to the vehicle - maybe different tires, different wheels, heavier battery, etc. This sticker would just be an indication that your car's total load is slightly less than its factory spec due to the add-ons. The sticker is there as a warning in the event that you overload the car which would be be a safety risk (i doubt most of us overload our cars but it is possible if the total load/capacity is 1000lbs and you have 5 occupants with a few full suitcases in the trunk).
My car was a lease return CPO model and not a single thing was changed at the dealership. I've added a rear spoiler, lip spoiler, heavy duty battery with more CCA's, all weather mats, aftermarket grille and always have at least 20-30lbs of stuff in the trunk (batter jumper, toolset, lug wrench, etc.) so i'd guess if I traded it back to the dealership, they should add that sticker!

But who in the world measures the capacity of the car so close that 7lbs makes a difference? I have NEVER weighed what goes into my cars or trucks to see if it was "legal" in any way. My rule of thumb is if it fits, it goes! LOL
Unless you are carrying lead (or better, gold; worse uranium) it is likely to not be an issue as the density of most things are not enough to reach capacity.
