Default Lease Info - 2018 GS F Sport

Need some advice on a lease proposal:
I'm somewhat 'new' to the game, so please be patient.
I've read a TON or articles on here, still a little unclear on a couple nuances.

Here is the offer I have so far:
2018 Lexus GS 350 F Sport
MSRP: 55,665
I have an older GS to trade.....getting 3K for it (not great...but I have 165K miles on it)
Getting 1500 cap cost reduction
+ 2500 Lease cash
Total Cap Cost = 51,300
12K miles/year
48 months @ $541
Residual = 24,870.00

I'm considering putting some more cash down, but what do you all think of the deal so far?
Could use some advice and perspective from more knowledgeable source.

Thanks a million!

When I was looking into leasing a car, I went here (and its forum): https://leasehackr.com/
There is a lot of info there...
I will say, for me, it made more sense to buy my 2018 GS350 F-Sport than to lease it (I drive crazy miles).

Good luck!

That is a terrible deal. Also why do 48 months vs 36? 36months is probably more of a sweet spot for the residual value.

MSRP: 55,665
I have an older GS to trade.....getting 3K for it (not great...but I have 165K miles on it)
Getting 1500 cap cost reduction
+ 2500 Lease cash
Total Cap Cost = 51,300

If you add 3,000+1,500+2,500= $7,000 so your Total cap cost should be somewhere near $48,xxx.

I got a lease deal from my local lexus for a 2018 GS F Sport with almost 5k miles on it for:
36 months / 12k miles a year
MSRP 57,160
BUYOUT / END OF LEASE 30,294
$2600 Down
$579/Month
After I told him that's too much money for a used car, he dropped to $545 / month. I still think he can go much lower. I told him I'll go buy an Infinity q50 Sport, no money down, $450 / month, I asked him to match it. He said he'll let me know but is not promising anything Let me know what everyone thinks on this deal. Any feedback is much appreciated.

Should be under $500/month. Since it is a used car, they should at least take off 5,000x.25

lease on that loaner better be ZERO down and under $500 a month.. more like $450 or less.

Make sure to put in some MSD's to lower your money factor.

Great, thanks for all the info. Still waiting on the final numbers from the dealer.

Your lease is pretty horrible. It’s for 48 month and most leases are 36. Might as well buy the car. Rule of thumb on any good lease is 0 down and price with everything included monthly should be less than 1% of msrp.

After several days of not answering the dealer's phone calls, they agreed to brand new car (not loaner) and any color I want and the following numbers:
$499/month
$2600 down
12k/year
MSRP $57K

I don't know what the buyout is yet, but it looks like this is a good deal. Any thoughts?

you are going to be paying over $600 a month.. if you are okay with it. Do it.. Personally, I would goto a BMW or Audi and get a 340i/S4 for the same price.

email the salesman back and get the money factor..

Still too much. You should put first months and DMV fees down....

I got a final deal for a 2018 GS F-Sport:
$2600 down including first month's payment
$2000 MSD
MF .00008
RESIDUAL 54%
BUYOUT $30,866
$476/MONTH
36 MONTHS
12K/YEAR
MSRP $57,160

I got other quotes from two different dealers in CT and they were all $2600 down and $575-613/month. I think the above is a good deal. I have to make a decision by Monday, but I think I will take it.
