Default Has anyone ran 18's on an F-sport?

Do the AWD base and F-sport's have the same rotors/calipers?

If 18's will fit on the F-sport no issue, what about when lowered with RSR regular downs? And if so, can you post your wheel and tire specs?

Thanks

On my car that is a non-fsport that has 18's the factory brakes barely clear the factory wheels. I imagine they wouldn't fit on the front with fsport brakes, someone else can probably confirm though.

The AWD F-Sports and non-F sport AWD models come with the same brakes/caliper/rotors.. 18s will certainly fit the AWD F-sport without a problem. 18s may be a problem only on RWD F-Sport models that have the bigger brakes/rotors up front.

I'm not sure about any issues with RSR-Downs and wheel sizes (i've never lowered any of my cars b/c I live in NYC and have dealt with too many wheel/tire/suspension issues with the crappy roads).

My buddy has a 13 GS F-Sport AWD with 17" winter wheel set mounted. 18s will be fine for AWD.

Really? I had no idea, I always thought the brakes on my non-fsport awd were really good.

The standard brakes on the non F-sport have excellent bite! Here's the info provided by Lexus for the 4GS:

Lexus's brake description for all AWD models and non-F sport RWD models:
Four-wheel power-assisted discs, with four-sensor, four-channel Anti-lock Braking System (ABS), Electronic Brakeforce Distribution (EBD) and Brake Assist, Electronic Controlled Braking (ECB) (GS 450h) 13.1-in ventilated front discs with two-piston calipers; 12.2-in ventilated rear discs with single-piston-sliding calipers

Lexus's brake description for RWD F Sport Models:
All braking components of the GS 350 plus monoblock four-piston front calipers with 14.0-in ventilated rotors, pin-mounted to an aluminum hat (GS 350 RWD F SPORT)

Great info. I wonder if they are interchangeable?

What tire size is everyone using? It looks like a toss up between 245/45/18 (+6mm diameter), 255/45/18 (+16mm diameter) and 255/40/18 (-10mm diameter) ... I'd rather the 45 series if there is no rubbing issues?

I have 235/45/18 on my stock wheels, Yokohama YK740. I'm running 20mm spacers in rear, I may add some to the front too.

I've seen that copy and pasted many times, but if you've changed your own pads on your non-RWD Fsport(I have on my AWD F Sport), you'll know the front calipers are definitely 4 piston, not 2 piston. It's a fixed caliper, and there are 2 pistons for each pad.
