Yeah they email the tune and then I just upload to the device. It may not be that complicated now because I think the tune for my specific year had to be made, its likely already uploaded to the device manufacture so when you connect the device it will pull down the new tunes. I think I was one of the first to get a gs350 tune and I had awd if that made a difference with the ones they had made.

Wanted to update this thread. Finally got my tune loaded on the car a little bit ago. Process was pretty straight forward, longest portion was getting the tune done once I sent my stock one, but still just a few days. I definitely have a nice improvement I feel on the car. I just tested the increased redline at 7200 and it definitely works. It was a little strange because I knew the tone of the redline before and it sounded different going up to 7200 now. I took it around some of the usual areas with alot of turns and elevation changes and it handled it great. With the Apexi accel on red and sport mode its very fun to drive. I believe there was a adjustment in the tune already for the throttle response so the Apexi compounds how responsive the car is. Theres literally 0 throttle lag with the setup, I can feel it pulling alot harder now. Power is smoother too, when accelerating and shifting. All around the car just feels great, between the upgraded steering wheel and responsiveness. I need to drive my buddies 135i that has DCT to compare the power and shifting speed. If you guys have any questions holler, not sure how many 4gs owners have had the tune done yet.

I've been running it for almost a week now and it been a nice difference from stock. I can notice the difference in power and torque, it feels like it wants to go more when you are on the throttle. The power feels more "smooth" with accelerating and shifting, its very consistent. Sometimes I noticed the power can be a little jerky in the car. I can't report on MPG changes because my MPG has always been pretty poor with how I drive my car, usually averaging 18-19. I haven't pushed it too much to the redline, I shift manual most of the time. To unlock the 7200 you need to have traction control off, I think it hits 7k with it on. Definitely a improvement though, I think this car should have come like this from the factory. The car would be even more fun if I lowered it so I had less body roll around turns since I have stock awd suspension, but I don't want to mess with the ride feel. Maybe I'll make a video and post it soon, I don't really have a good setup for camera mounting in the car but maybe I'll figured something out.

I'm thinking about driving to their shop and getting this tune. Thought about the supercharger but don't think I need that much power available to get tickets. I already have a heavy foot....probably will do tune. Are you guys removing speed limiter? I saw that as an option on the website while looking.

Does this reduce the 0-60 time? Cause that's all I care about, I don't need my car to rev to 20K and still get the 0-60 time same as stock.
