Default Yet another tire question for GS350 RWD F-Sport

Usually I can take care of the issues with my 2013 GS350 F-Sport RWD and 2001 ES300 by just using the search function. Thanks to this forum I've saved thousands in DIY repairs.

I'm in desperate need to put new front tires on my GS350. Currently have Dunlop Max. While doing the brakes a couple of weeks ago (easiest brake job ever), I noticed the inner wear on the front tires is awful. Cords showing & several "chunks" of rubber missing. The outer edge and center tread wear look fine. I replaced the rear tires less than a year ago, so those have a plenty of life left. I got a smokin deal from SimpleTire for the rears--$250 each. However, they don't seem to sell the Dunlops any more. I knew at the time I should have purchased the fronts and just put them in the garage.

To avoid the $350+ Dunlop price tag, I am thinking about going with the Michelin Pilot PS4. They are $250 before install. I was going to leave the rears on for now, and hopefully get another year out of them. I live in Texas and only drive the GS around 10k miles a year. Other than appearance, is there anything I should worry about with having 2 different brands of tires on the car? If this is a mistake, it's cheaper to put 2 Dunlops on vs 4 Michelins.

Also. Any suggestions regarding the bad tire wear? I have an alignment package with NTB, and I've had the it aligned 3'x in the last 15k miles. The tires have also been rotated regularly. Currently It drives straight and doesn't pull at all. I wouldn't have a clue about the wear if it weren't for the brake job. I'll certainly get it aligned with new tires.

TIA for replies and suggestions.

Here's the alignment report from last March. Probably around 5k miles since done (total miles is 38k). I just noticed, on the report they are using the specs for an ES350 not a GS. Perhaps this is the culprit. May need to go have a talk with NTB.

Your alignment spec look good, no reason for your front tires inner worn out that fast.

For some reason, Caster is off. Indicating both front wheels/tires evenly back. That does not affect any uneven tire wears.

Your RT Toe was way off and that could affect the uneven tire wear.

Basically, your RT tire was facing outward resulting inner tire wear and it could have also affect LT tire because the vehicle was pulling towards RT.

His casters are good for GS RWD, within the spec, I don't think alignment guy able to adjust casters anyway, may be I am wrong.

Correct - caster is not adjustable. It's not important unless you are looking to improve lap times on a track.

The caster alignment is equal on both left and right, which is good.
