Default Bluetooth iPhone connection problems

Just purchased a new GS350 F sport 2 weeks ago and noticed that about 50% of the time my iPhone won’t connect automatically. I then have to manually connect it through the menu system. Any others have this problem?
Thanks in advance.

Since my dad switched to ios11 he's been having issues connecting to the bluetooth. He has to manually have to go to the bluetooth settings and connect from there. But luckily I have an Samsung s8+ and I'm having no issues.

Ip7+ running ios11.02. Zero connection issues here. Not even a hiccup.

Restart phone, delete BT connection and start fresh.

Not sure what to say after that.

Same here with my iPhone. I actually cruise with 2 phones, Work iPhone 7 Plus and a Samsung Note 8. If anything the iPhone actually links up a little
faster.

I had some big problems with my old Note 4 on this car (2015 early/mid F Sport) . It would get into this BT connect/disconnect loop and it got very annoying.

Another thing that helps... reboot/power cycle your phones once a week. Even though the iPhone is pretty stable in this regard, it doesn't hurt anything.

I have had 5 different iPhones paired to my 2015 RX 350. 1 x and 3 7 pluses and 1 seven. luses. The radio constantly reboots on callout number three. Call out one you can’t here the phone keypad dial out and you don’t hear the phone ring and the person who we dial hears us. Th radio head was replaced and as soon as we got off th exit where we live this process began all over again. I have unpaired deleted repaired turned off phone tured on airplane mode. I am at my wits end. The radio goes black on callout 4 and the boot up me he to drive with caution comes on. I know it’s not the phone since I have tried many different phones while we waited for the radio to be delivered I had three different loaners. All 2017’s, one rx450 h and loaded and non loaded rx 350’s. My phone never experience any issues what so ever. I do not like how the screen is flickering as it turns my eyes away from the windshield. This is not how the car was delivered and th dealership had the odacity to lie to me and said there was a firmware update and then concurred that they did lie and apologized.

I've heard the iPhone 11 is having trouble (where the X isn't) with many bluetooth systems even on iOS 13.1.2

Hopefully Apple releases another patch soon to address this.

Haha I didn’t want to start a new thread. iPhone X with 13.1.2 but issues ever since updating to 13. I’ll try deleting and readding the phone.

Deleting and re-adding seems to be the fix with iOS 13 when you run into connection issues. iOS 13 seems to work smoother after that presenting more information when text messages pop up.

After iOS13 upgrade, my phone didn't connect to my GS350. After reading this post, I deleted phone & re-entered it and it took care of the issue.

Interestingly, after upgrade, the issue/problem did not occur in my wife's LX570.
