Lexus Dynamic Navigation
Does anyone know which vehicles this applies to? I saw this listed in Enform but it just says for "select" vehicles. They say it's cloud based updates for the map. I wonder if this would give us better real-time updates for road conditions and new routes. The FAQ's don't say anything about which vehicles this applies to either.
"New Dynamic Navigation* in select vehicles, offers three enhanced features. Enjoy greater accuracy through cloud-based updates with Dynamic Map. Dynamic Route offers alternate routes based on conditions ahead, and Dynamic POI Search automatically sorts Points of Interest results based on relevance. To learn more, click below."

Lexus Enform Dynamic Navigation is available in all 2018 LS models as well as 2018 NX and RC models with Navigation.
This feature is possible because they are also the first Lexi to offer WiFi. For those NX and RC models without Nav that
had Scout GPS Link with Turn by Turn in 2017, the 2018's will have Scout with Full Moving Maps "Mapstream". The
WiFi is provided by Verizon 4G LTE and will be Complimentary for the first year or 4GB of data, whichever comes first.

U know instead of going through all the trouble with this infotainment system, they could've just put Android / Apple Car Play and be done with this.
My 17 RC has the newer nav and my dad's new 17 Camry has that Scout GPS thing and it's really only a basic voice nav. It's already using my phone, why not just make it a full blown Car Play?

Thanks mcomer. That explains it! The drivers site really needs to be more precise when announcing new features. I also noticed while I was on the site that the 2018 build your Lexus is now available. I think it is still being updated as I could not see any packages for the GS350. All the options are there but there are no packages on the build list.

Meanwhile, Chevy Malibu drivers get a superior navigation experience using their phones.
It's so silly.
