Is this car worth the price?
First time posting so please bear with me. Been looking around for a new car and finalized on getting a GS. Been doing some research and decided that I was going to go with a 2013 GS with the luxury package and has 52k miles. The dealership is asking for 27k. Is this a reasonable price? What are your guys' thoughts? Thanks!

I'd say that's a good deal. The luxury pkg is very similar to an f sport package in the things that matter (ie it has sport s+) and people get confused about this package because it looks like the base and there are not many around. If this was an f sport it would have easily sold fir that price imo.

I agree that you're getting a good deal and with just 52k miles, you should have years to enjoy your new ride. I just bought my second GS and I'm happy that I remained loyal to Lexus and the GS model. Good luck!

Recently I paid 24,996 for a 2013 Lux with 54K miles. Mine had a pretty sundamaged/yellow headlight on the passanger side and came without a CPO warranty since I bought it from an autonation. I think 27K is a good price since yours appears a little cleaner than mine and also comes with the CPO warranty. Like others said, maybe you can get them down lower since they have had it on the lot for a while. I think 26K would be a smoking deal but they have already dropped the price twice so they may be less likely to flex much.

I would offer 23K to 24K or 25K out the door. It does not have ML from what I am seeing nor the cold weather package, it has over 50K miles and is a 2013. I would not get too hung up on CPO or paying much extra for it, these cars are very reliable and have few issues. Gold is not a very desired color either. Try to get it lower, it has been sitting for 2 months so it is not in any kind of demand at that price.

True, these cars will not leave you stranded but right after i bought my used gs i experienced a noticeable rattle with my sunroof. The car went in the shop for a week while i drove around a brand new rx courtesy car.
Boy was i glad i got the CPO. Paid for itself right then and there.

CPO adds 1500.00 to the price, not "several thousands."
And yes, i'd say it paid itself off on the sunroof rattle issue + rental car.
Book time on that kind of job is around 6 hours as they have to take apart the liner and rebuild the assembly with new cables. Throw parts on top of that, and the fact that i saved on rental car fees... we're there.

Different area different deals
I purchased my 13 GS 350 AWD with the winter package couple of weeks ago with 78k on it, very clean , i only paid $18,500.00. Everyone is telling me that hit the jackpot. So far i am enjoying my GS, and no Issues. Different part of the country, different deals. for your area, it my be a great deal with the luxury package.

This particular GS350 your are referring to has the following options:
Luxury PKG, Nav, Mark Levinson, Part Assist, Blind Spot Monitor, Illuminated Door Sills, and Preferred Accessories PKG. Most of RWD GS don't come with Cold Weather Package, and you will only see Cold Weather Package on AWD GS.
It costs Lexus dealers to pay $1,500 to add CPO warranty, but the value to it is more than $1,500 because Freeman Lexus had to invest money to make this car to Lexus CPO standard first which they replaced front brakes, battery, wiper blade inserts, (oil filter, air filter, A/C cabin filter, fresh engine oil, and fresh brake fluid = 60K major service)
Lexus CPO warranty includes 2 year or 20K mile free maintenance which ever comes first and 2 years with unlimited miles warranty from the date you purchase it. I'm sure it will cost you more than $1,500 to get a 3rd party warranty that doesn't even include free maintenance.
Satin Cashmere (Gold color) is not the most desirable color for GS, and I think this may be the reason why it has been sitting on the lot for 2 months.
Before you make the purchase, make sure you ask the salesperson why there are 2 body shop repair order in national service history: First one was when they first certified this GS back in 2014 (could be just bumpers), and the second one was a year later.
Just to clarify it, I don't work for them, and I'm just trying to help you know more about this GS and Lexus CPO program.
If you are okay with this color, I think it's a good deal
