Hey guys. I just recently installed a Takeda CAI and noticed a whistling/whining sound when throttle is opened slightly at like 2k RPM. You can only hear it with the windows down. If windows are up, you can't hear it. Are any of you hearing the same sound? If so, were any of you able to fix it and eliminate the sound? I tried multiple things. Tightened and checked all coupling hoses, made sure the hose on the side isn't slipping off... Change the throttle body gasket to a new one...

If anyone can help me fix this whistle, i'd love to keep the CAI. The growl it makes is soooo addicting. I wish I just could get rid of the whistle. If anyone wants to take this intake please from me used, pelase PM me. It's only been used for like 300 miles so far.

that's a normal characteristic of cold air intakes. totally normal. i don't think there's a "fix" for it.

I always thought cold air intakes are suppose to have a slight whistle sound? I could be wrong though
