Can I go minus 2 (i.e., from a 19" stock to a 17") for winter wheels on a 2017 Lexus GS350 F Sport AWD?

thats a good question. Id like to know the answer as well. Id imagine it would handle like poop with all that sidewall...

I'm thinking about going down to 18s for winter.... but I am interested in the answer to this, too.

I'm pretty sure that should be perfectly fine since the base model GS comes stock with 17" wheels and tires. Though granted the F-Sport model does have suspension differences but i'm not sure if that will make any differences.

Just as reference, the AWD GS comes with the following non-staggered OEM sizes:
17": 225/50/17 (Premium Models w/o Wheel Upgrade)
18" 235/45/18 (Premium & Lux Models from 2013-2014)
19" 235/40/19 (F-Sport & 2015+ Lux Models)

Any of these sizes will work perfectly fine on the AWD premium, lux or F-Sport variant. OEM width for the 17" are 7.5"; OEM width for the 18" and 19" wheels are 8".

I recall seeing an AWD F sport locally having used 17" rims for winter tires. You should be fine.

There are 17" that can fit as the base model comes with that size, but not all 17" rim profiles will clear the front brake calipers.
