shifter movement after I park

shifter movement after I park
2014 GS350 w/ 30k miles
Is it normal for the shifter to jolt forward a little than move back into its normal place after I park if the car is on a slight tilted surface?
For example my parking spot at work is on a very small incline so after I put my car in park and release the brake the car moves a little back but since the car is in park it stops but not before the shifter jolts forward a little than back to its original position.

I don't use the auto parking brake. I only use the parking brake when I park on an incline, and I engage it manually. I haven't noticed correlation of this issue with parking brake use, but I haven't paid close attention either.

I do have the auto parking brake on, and whenever I do this the car is fully stopped with the brakes engaged via the pedal. It doesn't bother me, it's just an interesting quirk I'm curious to understand.
I wonder if it has anything to do with a shift lock mechanism, but again the inconsistency is odd.
