Is there any customization setting to unlock the trunk together with the doors on '13-15 GS?

Currently, if I unlock the doors by touching the handles, the trunk stays locked(that is, another person can't press the trunk switch and open the trunk). I have to stand next to the trunk with the smart access fob in order to open the trunk, or hold the trunk button on the fob.

I was recently in a '16 ES and found that unlocking doors also unlocks the trunk - which is exactly what I want.

I have mine set up that way. I used Carista to change it. Or the dealer can do it.

Great, I have Techstream to change it, but just too much hassle to get everything hooked up if the option isn't there.

What model year is your GS?

I went in with Techstream and don't see any options for that anywhere - I checked Door Locks, Smart Access, Security, Wireless Door Locks, Others menus.

Do you mind telling me what the option is named in Carista?

I have read the 'roll up' remote function was permanently disabled in the U.S. version of the GS.

Mine is a 2015. Let me double check and make sure I'm not confusing my IS settings with my GS settings. In any case, my trunk does unlock with the doors, so we just have to find where the setting is.

Correct, the roll up function from the remote is no longer available in the US. You can still do it with the key in the door, though.

Lexus wouldn't trust Americans with that feature... just imagine the lawsuits from people "accidentally" beheading their pets if the "roll up" were allowed.

It's too bad because the auto-down works great, but to get everything closed up, you got to do everything manually.
